Vision for Equality, Inc. is currently seeking a Full Time Program Managing Director
Duties:
- Oversees all existing Programmatic departments and any future newly developed departments
- Collaborates with Executive Directors, Administrator and Management Team on issues related to the individual departments under their supervision and on issues and concerns related to administrative functions.
- Provide leadership, supervision and direction to all Program Managers and Coordinators
- Meet on a scheduled bi weekly basis with Executive Directors and Administrator to discuss activities of Agency and departments
- Work closely with Administrator to assure smooth operations of Agency
- Supervise, guide advise, direct and support the program departments of the Agency
- Foster collaboration and information sharing among departments
- Encourage problem solving
- Screen and interview perspective staff, volunteers, and students for programs with appropriate Department Coordinator or Manger
- Assure procedures for all department are developed and followed
- Attend monthly Management and Staff meetings
- Review and edit all department reports
- Hold bi-monthly meetings with each Coordinator or Manager
- Develops Annual Report
- Attend Board Meetings upon request
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or 10 years experience in supervision/management
- Extensive experience working with people with disabilities and families.
- Knowledge of the State and national Disability system, relevant laws, State and national programs and experience collaborating with organizations that support people with developmental disabilities
- Participation with or on State and national advocacy organizations boards and programs
- Prior experience managing/directing multi-programs
- Experience writing Grants a plus
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communications skills
- Advanced Computer knowledge and skills

- PART-TIME MONITOR is needed to join the Independent Monitoring
for Quality program (IM4Q).
Be part of a team that surveys individuals with disabilities who receive
services funded by Philadelphia County Mental Retardation Services.
Responsibilities include visiting and interviewing individuals to determine
their level of satisfaction with the quality of services they receive.
Independent travel throughout the City of Philadelphia is required, in
addition to possible evening and weekend availability
Must have prior scheduling and interviewing skills as well as strong
organizational ability. Good communication and writing skills necessary.
Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel or Access would be a plus
