has established
The Fialkowski Humanitarian Award
as part of the annual Brighter Futures Awards
This Award honors the spirit and memory of Leona and
Marion Fialkowski, two tireless crusaders who, for more
than four decades,
fought for the rights of people with disabilities. Their vision
and
resolve led to creating and enhancing services for their two sons
and many others
with severe challenges, changing the human service system forever.
