Audrey Coccia (L) and Maureen Devaney (R)Maureen Devaney (R)A letter From Our Directors
Our journey began with a vision focused on the importance of people with disabilities and their families believing they are valued members of our service system and community and that they should be treated with both dignity and respect.

We seek change that reflects the importance of the people being served, seeing the customer as the focal point. We envision a service system that seeks customer satisfaction, a revolutionary idea.

Our hope is that teaching by our example and being inspired through our efforts, others grow to understand and welcome this paradigm shift. Opportunity and self-determination are our goals, erasing barriers and boundaries our objectives, full membership in community our determined outcome.

We are a unique organization born out of a collective desire for systems change. We interface daily with the service system to set a presence in people’s lives and to bring the perspective of the "customer" and their family to the forefront. We define our roles as advocates and monitors promoting quality and equality in the system and one community for all.

Along with our local impact we have achieved state and national recognition. We recognize that what we have accomplished, big and small, is through the committed hard work and leadership of our Board of Directors, our staff and our volunteers. We believe we can and do make a difference!
