SUMMARY:Beyond Group Homes: Housing Options for Adults with Developmental Disabilities
DESCRIPTION:This session will explore various housing options\, funding sources and service models that that provide greater control for self-advocates and families than traditional group homes without families having to provide the bulk of the daily supports.\nTopics included: reverse life sharing\, family purchased homes\, home ownership by adults with developmental disabilities\, ownership by trusts\, rentals\, housing subsidies\, shared housing\, additions.
