Behavioral Supports: What are They and Are Not?

Behavioral support is sometimes misunderstood and yet can be very effective to help someone navigate their day. Some misconceptions and what to expect if your loved one receives behavioral support services. Ways that a behavioral approach can be useful even for those people who are not receiving it as a formal service. Everyday tips and tricks grounded in Positive Behavioral Support will be shared.

This presentation will be led by Stacy L. Nonnemacher, Ph.D., Clinical Director, Office of Developmental Programs,  Bureau of Supports for Autism and Special Populations
