Imagine two 56-year-old women who are the caregivers for their mothers with moderate dementia.
In this workshop, members of Helping Hands Family’s (HHF) clinical team will introduce families and caretakers to the standards of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
This training will empower caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with practical strategies and tools to effectively manage their own emotions and responses during their child's outbursts and meltdowns. Jennie is the Clinical Director and BCBA for ABA Centers of Pennsylvania. She earned her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism. Jennie has been working with the special needs community for about 10 years, and specifically in ABA for the last 5.
